Notice of Contract Award
The Borough of Hightstown has awarded the following contract without competitive bidding pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:11-5 et seq as follows:
DeBlock Environmental Services, LLC of Woodland Park, New Jersey for Backup Licensed Wastewater Operator Services. Term of Contract July 7, 2022 – December 31, 2023, at a monthly rate of $500 plus hourly rates pursuant to the contract approved by Borough Council. The total contract amount is dependent upon services provided. The resolution of award, contract and all applicable documents are available for public inspection in the office of the Borough Clerk. The new green Borough Recycling Collection Cart must be used for Recycling collection beginning the week of June 22, 2022

Dear Resident:
The Borough of Hightstown has contracted with Solterra for the collection of our recycling.
As the Borough transitions from Waste Management to Solterra, we appreciate your patience. Please read the following:
The new green Borough Recycling Collection Cart
must be used for Recycling collection
beginning the week of June 22, 2022.
DO NOT USE THE NEW GREEN CART BEFORE THAT DATE.
THIS CART IS TO BE USED FOR RECYCLING ONLY!
NO YARD WASTE, TWIGS, GRASS, GARBAGE, BULK OR PAINT CANS
ALL RECYCLABLES MUST IN PLACED IN THE CART. ANYTHING LEFT OUTSIDE OR ON TOP OF THE CART WILL NOT BE PICKED UP.
Hold onto the green and yellow Waste Management cart and we will send instructions once we know when Waste Management will collect them.
